What is New Covenant School of Ministry?2025-04-09T02:14:07+00:00

New Covenant School of Ministry (NCSM), formerly known as Amazing Grace Bible Institute (AGBI) is a Bible school that was started by Ange-Michel Muhayimana in 2011 while in Burundi. The school trained many believers who are currently church and ministry leaders.

NCSM’s vision is derived from 2 Timothy 2:1-2. In this portion of scripture, Paul encourages Timothy to be STRONG in the GRACE that is in Christ and to make sure he ENTRUSTS to other RELIABLE men the things he had heard Paul say (teach) so that they may also be QUALIFIED to teach others.

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me sayin the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” -2 Timothy 2:1-2

In summary, NCSM is called to train reliable men and women who will be strong in God’s grace and qualified to teach others.

This school of ministry will be both online and in person and will focus on helping the students understand the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant, believers’ new identity in Christ, Spiritual gifts, Bible interpretation, understanding the Gospel of God’s Grace, missions, and the church.

We hope that as you read this, you shall support this noble cause as the Lord leads you so that we may continue to train qualified ministers of the Gospel.

How do I get involved / support NCMI?2025-03-13T02:04:04+00:00

At NCMI, we love to have people who are willing to get involved and support our vision and mission. If you feel led by the Lord to be involved, you can reach out to us so that we may talk about it and see what fits you.

Some of the ways to be involved are praying for us, donating, but also joining us on our mission trips so that you may serve as the Lord leads you. We welcome those who want to regularly support us financially by becoming New Covenant partners. Being a grace-based ministry, we do not believe in begging for donations, but believe that donors should do it as their hearts lead them to without any compulsion (1 Corinthians 9:6-8).

What is “Grace Chronicles” Conference?2025-03-13T01:59:33+00:00

What is “Ministers of the New Covenant Seminars”?2025-03-21T16:16:28+00:00

Ministers of the New Covenant Seminars is one of NCMI’s programs meant to disseminate the Gospel of Grace to church leaders around the world. The name is derived from 2 Corinthians 3:5-6.

5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. (NIV)

Through these seminars, NCMI plans to train church leaders who are well versed in the Gospel of God’s Grace and who end up understanding that their competence comes from God who has made us competent ministers of a new covenant, but not of the Law (the letter that kills). Being ministers of a new covenant means being ministers of the Spirit that gives life.

This will help many church leaders to be freed from legalism and religion as they embrace the finished work of Jesus Christ as the New Covenant teaches.

NCMI holds these conferences where Kirundi Speakers are located so that they may be taught about the finished work of Christ and are given an opportunity to ask questions so that they may better understand the finished work of Christ.

What is the Gospel of God’s Grace?2025-03-13T01:47:02+00:00

The Gospel of God’s Grace is the Good News that through the finished work of Christ we are offered eternal life and total forgiveness of our sins. This is the Gospel that is emphasized in the New Covenant and it proclaims that through the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ, we receive salvation as a gift not because of our good works, but because of our faith in Jesus Christ. Grace not only gives us forgiveness, but it also empowers to live a new life which is based on who we are in Christ. Grace teaches us to say “No” to sin and ungodliness and to say “Yes” to righteousness and true holiness found in Christ. Because of God’s grace, sin does not have dominion over us (Romans 6:14). Grace is the ONLY Gospel that the Church is commanded to teach and preach (Acts 20:24 / Galatians 1:6:9).

What does NCMI do?2025-03-13T01:25:18+00:00

NCMI is a New Covenant, grace-based missions organization devoted to testifying to the Gospel/Good News of God’s Grace. Our vision is based on Acts 20:24 which states,

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” (NIV)

Based on that Vision, we do outreach mission trips around the US, the world, but especially to the Continent of Africa with the aim of doing evangelism, teaching church leaders who will in return teach and train their own people about our identity in Christ, the realities of the finished work of Christ and the New Covenant. We also do relief work to help the needy and the poor in less developed communities around the world.

What is the New Covenant and why the name New Covenant Ministries International?2025-03-13T01:23:34+00:00

The New Covenant is God’s promise of salvation through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. It fulfills the promises made in the Old Covenant, from Abraham to the tribes of Israel. The New Covenant allows for all people to have a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It promises total forgiveness for all sins, a new heart, freedom from Law-based living, and adoption as God’s children (Hebrews 8:8-12; Hebrews 10:14; Galatians 5:1). This covenant is not about our promises to God but about His promise to Himself, ensuring our salvation with an “anchor for the soul” (Hebrews 6:18-19). It is a covenant built on God’s faithfulness, not ours, and it is radically different from the Old Covenant, which relied on human obedience (Hebrews 8:9-10). Through the New Covenant, believers are given the rights and privileges of God’s children, fully accepted into His family, and they know God at a heart level (Hebrews 8:11; 1 John 3:1).

The transformative message of the Gospel serves as the inspiration behind the name New Covenant Ministries International. At NCMI, our mission is to faithfully share and teach this Gospel, equipping believers to deepen their faith while inviting unbelievers to embrace it, fostering a lasting and eternal relationship with God through Christ.
